Meet the Founder

AirGun Oregon founder Wayne Burns has spent years building courses, directing matches, testing equipment, and helping shooters find their place in field target. The Ashland Air Rifle Range is where that work comes together, bringing competition, practice, friendship, and the Southern Oregon landscape into one community.

The Sport

Why Shoot Field Target?

The Challenge

Random distances, real wind, kill zones down to 3/8 of an inch. Learn your equipment, read the conditions, earn every point.

The Cost

Pellets cost pennies per shot, and you can start modestly. A full season here costs less than a weekend in many shooting sports.

The People

Small squads, shared scoring, and coaching for every newcomer. However you shoot, the friendships stick.
